Hi Everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their sunday with their families & friends. Hansel and I we are heading over to watch the Bears game with our Friends Solange & Frank. They are HUGE Bears fans! So for today I wanted to share with you a frame that I made for their son Noah who is also a BEARS FAN (I don't think daddy would allow another team LOL)! Well here it is!
I used the Cricut Imagine & White Cardstock to get the colors you see on the football and on the letters.

The first time around I made a magnetic/dry erase message board that I really enjoyed doing! this time I really wanted to try something a little bit different. So here we go. I headed over to Michael's and bought some Ink Jet Friendly ShrinkyDinks Paper... If you haven't tried this stuff you are really missing out on some fun! This really took me back... WAY BACK!!!
I set all my images (Better Together Cricut Cartridge) to be printed and cut at 2 1/2 inches, punched a 1/8 hole in them and baked them at 275 degrees for about 3 minutes and here they are!!! After I was done i used some silver circles, chain and latch to make this adorable Charm bracelet! The blog candy for this Blog Hop is an irock!

I am so excited to share with all of you my VERY first Blog Hop Project Ever!!! As you all know I purchased my Imagine on the night it launched and I have been creating since it got here. I just love the versitility of this machine its so great to be able to mix the patterns and colors of the Imagine Cartridges with your existing cartridges... It just opens up a WHOLE NEW WORLD! I love it! this being my first ever blog hop I really wanted to do something a little different. So here it is my very first blog project not completely made of paper... I really wanted to make something for my friend/Neighbor Vivianne who just had a baby and living that busy Mom Life! so I started off with a Magnet/Dry Erase board that I got at Michael's and got to crafting!
I used the font from the Cindy Loo Cartridge and my favorite pattern from the Nursery Tails Imagine Cartridge. I printed and cut out Baby Camille's name on some Post-It Adhesive Craft Paper. I made the magnets with the i-top and the Medium i-top magnet daddies and... you guessed it Post-It Craft paper. It was great for this because the paper didnt slip around while i was making the magnets. I decorated this frame, the Post-It Take Note section and Camille's name with the i-Rock. I actually printed and cut everything from the Post-It Craft Paper (I think i might actually be obssesed with this stuff) with the exception of the front part of the frame because I wanted the new Mommy Vivianne to be able to change the picture for others as Camille grows.

I am the proud owner of the Cricut Imagine. I haven't posted any projects yet because I couldnt get it calibrated right. Well today it was finally done! I am happy to say that it is working perfectly. So since ProvoCraft was so Nice as to share the written procedure for advanced calibration. I decided to share with all Of you! Here they are below. I also made a YouTube video of my steps...
Steps to follow in order to do the Advanced Calibration.
1. Go to the Settings screen and select Blade Calibration. 2. This should bring up the first screen of the Blade Calibration routine. 3. Hold down the upper left hand physical button (not on the screen) and press "Start Calibration" on the screen at the same time. 4. This should take you to the Advanced Alignment Options screen. 5. There are two check boxes. - Auto-Calibrate Scale - If the distance between the top and bottom cut lines or the left and the right cut lines is too small then the scale needs to be increased. You likely will never have to make adjustments to the scale. - Auto-Calibrate Offsets - If the cut path is too high on both the top and bottom lines then you will need to increase the offset for the Top-Bottom offset setting. If the cut path is too far to the left on both the left and right side of the image then you will need to increase the Left-Right offset setting. 6. I usually change the settings by about 15 and see how that affects the position of the cut path in relation to the print. 7. Once you have decided on a new setting select Apply. It will take you back to the first screen of the blade calibration routine. Select Cancel. 8. You should now be in the Settings screen. Select Apply. 8. To test the new settings I like to select a box shape because it is easier to tell how far the adjustment moved. but use whatever image you like. 8. Print and cut your image. If it is not where you want it, then repeat the steps above. 9. Before printing and cutting again, select Load Last from the Project Preview screen and this will move your image to the next available space on your paper. 10. Keep repeating until you are comfortable with the results.
